Iran's Central Bank Publishes Official Exchange Rates Amid Currency Fluctuations
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 16, according to a statement. Among the 46 currencies listed, 42 saw an increase in value compared to September 15, while four depreciated.
The CBI's announced rates show that one US dollar is valued at 1,653,830 rials, and one euro costs 1,908,861 rials. In contrast, the black market exchange rate indicates that $1 is worth approximately 2.30-2.33 million rials, while one euro is valued at 2.66-2.69 million rials.
