Iran's Central Bank Updates Currency Exchange Rates Amid Market Fluctuations
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released updated currency exchange rates as of October 1. The new rates show that 43 currencies have increased in value compared to September 30, while three have decreased.
The official rate for the US dollar is now 1,747,044 rials, up from 1,741,819 rials on September 30. The euro has also gained ground, valued at 1,981,791 rials, slightly higher than its previous value of 1,974,353 rials.
The CBI uses the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,981,791 rials and $1 costs 1,747,044. On the black market, however, the dollar is trading at around 2.55-2.58 million rials, and the euro at 2.89-2.92 million rials.
