Iran's Currency Exchange Rates Rise as CBI Publishes New Figures

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of October 4, according to the CBI's announcement. The value of 45 currencies went up compared to October 3, while one currency fell in value.

The official rate for $1 stood at 1,757,542 rials on October 4, while one euro was valued at 1,978,132 rials. On the black market, $1 is worth about 2.68-2.71 million rials, and one euro is worth 3.02-3.05 million rials.

The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,978,132 rials and $1 costs 1,757,542 rials.
