Iraqi Dinar Weakens Against US Dollar Amid Slight Increase

The US dollar opened Wednesday's trading in Iraq higher than its previous session, hovering around 157,200 dinars per 100 dollars.

A Shafaq News market survey found that the dollar traded at various rates across different exchanges and cities. In Baghdad, it was sold for 157,250 dinars and bought for 156,750 dinars at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, marking a slight increase from the previous session's rate of 156,600 dinars.

In Erbil, exchange shops were selling the dollar at 157,250 dinars per 100 dollars, with buying prices at 157,200 dinars. The rates in Baghdad and Erbil differed slightly, but overall the dollar maintained its upward trend from the previous day.
