iShares Delists Currency Trading Lines for Seven ETFs in 2026
iShares V plc is removing currency trading lines for seven of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) by December 15, 2026. The affected ETFs include the iShares Euro STOXX 50 ESG UCITS ETF, iShares Italy Govt Bond UCITS ETF, and six others.
The delistings will occur on SIX Swiss Exchange for five of the funds, Euronext Amsterdam for three funds, and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange for one fund. However, alternative trading lines remain available for all affected ETFs on various European exchanges, including Xetra, Borsa Italiana, London Stock Exchange, and SIX Swiss Exchange.
The removal of currency trading lines does not mean the share classes themselves will close. Investors can still access these funds through other trading platforms. For example, the iShares MSCI Japan EUR Hedged UCITS ETF will delist its EUR line from SIX but continue trading on Borsa Italiana and Xetra.
