ITFOR Teams Up with Sourcing Brothers on $42.7 Million Joint Venture
Japanese software and systems company ITFOR has formed a joint venture with Sourcing Brothers to lead acquisitions, corporate venture capital investments, and business development as part of its inorganic growth strategy.
The new unit, called ITFOR Growth Capital, was established on July 9 and aims to reach 7 billion yen in revenue by fiscal 2029. ITFOR holds a 90% stake in the joint venture, while Sourcing Brothers owns 10%. The company will handle deal sourcing, investment execution, post-merger integration, and business development.
ITFOR Chairman Tsunenori Sato has been appointed president of the new company, which is based at ITFOR's Tokyo headquarters. The move reflects a broader push by ITFOR to supplement organic expansion through acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
The 'HIGH FIVE2033' plan aims to raise group revenue to 70 billion yen by fiscal 2033, with 24 billion yen in new business revenue as a key growth target.
