Japan and US Unite to Stabilize Volatile Yen

Japan's Finance Ministry revealed it collaborated with the United States on an intervention to stabilize the yen, citing excessive volatility. The coordinated effort aimed to address disorderly movements in the currency.

The ministry stated that it would not hesitate to take further action if necessary. In a statement, Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama emphasized that the ministry remains attentive and communicates closely with US Treasury counterparts.
