Japan's Stock Market Poised to Rebound Amid AI Rally and Weaker Yen
Japan's stock market is poised to make up for lost time when it reopens on Thursday, driven by optimism from an artificial intelligence (AI) rally and a weaker yen.
Nikkei 225 futures are already reflecting this positivity, with December contracts traded in Osaka about 2.5% higher than the gauge's Friday settlement. Local markets have been shut since Friday for the Silver Week holiday.
The yen is also on a losing streak against the dollar, marking its fourth consecutive day of decline.
