Khamenei Adviser Warns US-Israel Conflict Could Expand Further

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has an adviser who is warning of potential conflict expansion. Yahya Rahim Safavi, an Iranian military leader and adviser to Khamenei, says that US or Israeli attacks on Iranian national centers could lead to a broader conflict.

The conflict could potentially spread from the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz to the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and eventually the Indian Ocean, according to Safavi. He also warned of new theater operations around the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb if the US were to initiate another war.

Separately, several central bank officials weighed in on their respective economies. ECB's Kocher emphasized the need to prevent too-high inflation from becoming entrenched in the Eurozone economy. The official also noted signs of increased momentum since summer.
