Luxon Slams Labour as 'Bereft of Ideas' Ahead of Election Campaign Launch

National Party leader Christopher Luxon has launched his party's campaign for the upcoming November 7 election, emphasizing the need for a 'plan' to tackle New Zealand's challenges.

Luxon claimed that Labour is 'bereft of ideas' and has been 'embarrassingly little' in terms of policy. He highlighted several issues facing the country, including high inflation, frequent ram raids, and public money being given to the Mongrel Mob.

National's campaign promises include 'economic growth that delivers new jobs and higher wages', 'no new taxes', and a focus on 'better school results'. Luxon also touted National's achievements in replacing the Resource Management Act, education reform, and completing a Free Trade Agreement with India.

Luxon's comments come as he attempts to stick to Labour the various taxes proposed by minor parties, arguing that Chris Hipkins will need the additional revenue they would generate to fund his party's spending promises. Luxon emphasized that National is the 'party of delivery', but warned that the job isn't done yet.
