Mexican Peso Drops Amid Technical Profit-Taking and Dollar Pause

The Mexican peso has seen a 0.60% decrease in value against the US dollar on September 29, dropping to $17.87452.

This decline follows a multi-session rally that pushed the exchange rate towards multi-month highs, causing institutional market participants to take advantage of stretched positioning and trim their long US dollar exposures.

A stabilization in U.S. Treasury yields further reduced momentum for the greenback, allowing the Mexican peso to stage a corrective rebound.
