NBP Releases Latest Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies
The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has released its latest exchange rates for major foreign currencies. The bank's Treasury & Capital Markets Group issued a bulletin on Saturday, which includes rates for ready transactions and cash currency notes.
According to the bulletin, NBP set the US dollar's TT selling rate at Rs. 277.95, while the TT buying rate stands at Rs. 277.45. The euro carries a selling rate of Rs. 324.60, with its buying rate standing at Rs. 324.02.
The British pound has a TT selling rate of Rs. 379.25 and a buying rate of Rs. 378.56. Other currencies listed in the bulletin include the Japanese yen (Rs. 1.7485 for selling, Rs. 1.7454 for buying), Swiss franc (Rs. 347.24 for selling, Rs. 346.61 for buying), and Canadian dollar (Rs. 201.53 for selling, Rs. 201.17 for buying).
The bulletin also lists rates for other currencies, including the Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Swedish krona, Norwegian krone, Danish krone, New Zealand dollar, Korean won, Chinese yuan, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Qatari riyal, and Kuwaiti dinar.
