NBP Updates Foreign Currency Exchange Rates
The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has released its latest exchange rates bulletin for major foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee. The NBP Treasury & Capital Markets Group issued the rates, which are effective as of Monday.
The US dollar stood at Rs. 277.65 for TT selling and Rs. 277.15 for TT buying. The euro also saw a slight change, standing at Rs. 318.61 for selling and Rs. 318.04 for buying. Meanwhile, the British pound reached Rs. 371.54 for selling and Rs. 370.87 for buying.
The NBP set various rates for other currencies as well, including the Japanese yen (Rs. 1.7680 for selling and Rs. 1.7648 for buying), Swiss franc (Rs. 337.37 for selling and Rs. 336.76 for buying), Canadian dollar (Rs. 198.29 for selling and Rs. 197.93 for buying), Australian dollar (Rs. 197.91 for selling and Rs. 197.55 for buying), Swedish krona (Rs. 28.22 for selling and Rs. 28.17 for buying), Norwegian krone (Rs. 29.47 for selling and Rs. 29.42 for buying), Danish krone (Rs. 42.63 for selling and Rs. 42.55 for buying), New Zealand dollar (Rs. 158.98 for selling and Rs. 158.69 for buying), Singapore dollar (Rs. 217.66 for selling and Rs. 217.27 for buying), Hong Kong dollar (Rs. 35.39 for selling and Rs. 35.33 for buying), Chinese yuan (Rs. 41.47 for selling and Rs. 41.40 for buying), Malaysian ringgit (Rs. 68.13 for selling and Rs. 68.01 for buying), Thai baht (Rs. 8.34 for selling and Rs. 8.33 for buying), Korean won (Rs. 0.2007 for selling and Rs. 0.2004 for buying).
For cash transactions, the NBP set different rates: US dollar at Rs. 279.04 for selling and Rs. 276.04 for buying, British pound at Rs. 373.40 for selling and Rs. 368.99 for buying, euro at Rs. 320.21 for selling and Rs. 316.44 for buying.
