NBU Adjusts Official Exchange Rates Amid Market Fluctuations

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has adjusted its official exchange rates as of August 20. The US dollar is now valued at 44.61 hryvnias, down from Thursday's rate of 44.70. This change reflects a decrease of nine kopecks in the dollar's value against the Ukrainian currency.

Meanwhile, the euro has reached an all-time high with an official exchange rate of 52.13 hryvnias per euro, up 26 kopecks from Thursday's rate. The zloty, another European currency, is valued at 12.0685 hryvnias, a rise of eight kopecks.

Specialized websites report varying exchange rates across banks and the interbank market. On the bank level, the dollar is trading between 44.45 to 44.93 hryvnias, while the euro ranges from 51.78 to 52.48. The zloty's value oscillates between 11.64 and 12.16.
