NDP Leader Avi Lewis Joins Bank of Canada Security Guards on Picket Line
On September 23, NDP Leader Avi Lewis joined Bank of Canada security guards on their picket line in support of better working conditions and wages.
The move is seen as a rare instance of opposition politicians joining frontline workers in labor disputes.
Lewis was accompanied by MPs Leah Gazan and Don Davies, who also expressed solidarity with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members on strike.
