Nepal Rastra Bank Releases Today's Foreign Exchange Rates

The Nepal Rastra Bank has released today's foreign exchange rates for major currencies. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 152.37, while the selling rate is NPR 152.97. The exchange rates for other currencies are similarly detailed.

The buying and selling rates for European currencies include the Euro (NPR 177.74 and NPR 178.44 respectively), UK pound sterling (NPR 207.60 and NPR 208.41), and Swiss franc (NPR 189.53 and NPR 190.27). Asian currencies are also listed, including the Australian dollar (NPR 109.42 and NPR 109.85), Canadian dollar (NPR 109.88 and NPR 110.32), Singapore dollar (NPR 119.98 and NPR 120.45), and Japanese yen (NPR 9.58 and NPR 9.62).

The central bank has also set exchange rates for other currencies, including the Chinese yuan (NPR 22.67 and NPR 22.76) and the Saudi Arabian riyal (NPR 40.58 and NPR 40.74). The Thai baht is listed at a buying rate of NPR 4.65 and a selling rate of NPR 4.67, while the UAE dirham has a buying rate of NPR 41.48 and a selling rate of NPR 41.65.

The Nepal Rastra Bank notes that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary, and commercial banks may have different rates. The updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank's website.
