Nepal Rastra Bank Sets Exchange Rates for Major Currencies

The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for major currencies. The central bank set the buying rate for one US dollar at NPR 152.31 and the selling rate at NPR 152.91.

The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 175.31, while the selling rate is NPR 176.00. For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate is NPR 204.74 and the selling rate is NPR 205.55.

The central bank also set rates for other major currencies, including the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, and Omani rial.

The exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. Commercial banks may have different exchange rates, which are available on the central bank's website.
