Nepal Rastra Bank Sets Today's Foreign Currency Exchange Rates

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 152.37, while the selling rate is at Rs 152.97. Similarly, the buying and selling rates of other major currencies are: European euro (Rs 177.74 and Rs 178.44), British pound sterling (Rs 207.60 and Rs 208.41), Swiss franc (Rs 189.53 and Rs 190.27), Australian dollar (Rs 109.42 and Rs 109.85), Canadian dollar (Rs 109.88 and Rs 110.32), Singapore dollar (Rs 119.98 and Rs 120.45), Japanese yen (Rs 9.58 and Rs 9.62 for 10 units), Chinese yuan (Rs 22.67 and Rs 22.76).

The central bank has also fixed the exchange rates of other currencies such as Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, Omani rial, and Indian rupee. The rates may be revised at any time as necessary.

The central bank has clarified that the exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may differ from those set by the central bank. The updated exchange rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank's website.
