Nepal Rastra Bank Sets Today's Foreign Exchange Rates
Nepal Rastra Bank has announced today's foreign exchange rates for major currencies. The central bank sets the buying and selling rates for various currencies, including the US dollar, European euro, UK pound sterling, and others.
The current rates are as follows: one American dollar can be bought for Rs 153.10 and sold for Rs 153.70; one European euro can be bought for Rs 175.83 and sold for Rs 176.52; and one UK pound sterling can be bought for Rs 204.69 and sold for Rs 205.50.
The rates for other currencies include: Swiss franc (Rs 185.65 buying, Rs 186.38 selling), Australian dollar (Rs 109.08 buying, Rs 109.51 selling), Canadian dollar (Rs 109.37 buying, Rs 109.80 selling), Singapore dollar (Rs 119.85 buying, Rs 120.32 selling), Japanese yen (10 yen for Rs 9.70 buying, Rs 9.73 selling), Chinese yuan (Rs 22.86 buying, Rs 22.95 selling), and others.
The central bank notes that these rates can be revised at any time as needed and that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary.
