Netherlands Backs Klaas Knot for ECB Leadership Role

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten has expressed his support for Klaas Knot to lead the European Central Bank (ECB). According to Jetten, many countries in the region would find Knot to be an ideal candidate for the position.

Jetten praised Knot's experience as head of the Netherlands' central bank, saying he was 'very successful' and bringing with him knowledge of the euro zone's debt crisis. He also described Knot as 'very pragmatic.'
