NRB Announces Latest Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Nepal
Nepal's central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has set today's foreign currency exchange rates. The buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs 152.19, while the selling rate is at Rs 152.79.
The NRB has also fixed the buying and selling rates for other major currencies: euro at Rs 175.89 and Rs 176.58 respectively, UK pound sterling at Rs 205.37 and Rs 206.18, Swiss franc at Rs 188.25 and Rs 188.99.
The exchange rates are as follows:
- Buying rate of one Australian dollar: Rs 107.50
- Selling rate of one Australian dollar: Rs 107.92
- Buying rate of one Canadian dollar: Rs 109.15
- Selling rate of one Canadian dollar: Rs 109.58
- Buying rate of one Singapore dollar: Rs 118.98
- Selling rate of one Singapore dollar: Rs 119.45
The NRB has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required, and the rates set by commercial banks may differ.
