NRB Fixes Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Today

Nepal's central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has set the exchange rates for various foreign currencies against the Nepalese Rupee (NPR) as of today. The buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.41 and the selling rate at Rs 153.01. This means that people can buy $1 for NPR 152.41, but have to sell it back to NRB for NPR 153.01.

The exchange rates also apply to other currencies such as euro (EUR), UK pound sterling (GBP), Swiss franc (CHF), Australian dollar (AUD), Canadian dollar (CAD), Singapore dollar (SGD), Japanese yen (JPY), Chinese yuan (CNY), and others. For example, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 175.80 and the selling rate is Rs 176.50.

The exchange rates may be revised at any time as required by NRB. Commercial banks in Nepal may have different exchange rates, and updated rates are available on the NRB website.
