NRB Fixes Foreign Exchange Rates for Various Currencies

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs. 153.81, while the selling rate is Rs. 154.41.

The central bank has also fixed exchange rates for other currencies. The buying rate of one euro is Rs. 173.01 and the selling rate is Rs. 173.69. The buying rate of one British pound sterling is Rs. 203.18 and the selling rate is Rs. 203.98.

The exchange rates are as follows: Australian dollar (Rs. 106.72), Canadian dollar (Rs. 108.04), Singapore dollar (Rs. 120.23), Japanese yen (10 yen = Rs. 9.76), Chinese yuan (Rs. 22.94), Saudi Arabian riyal (Rs. 40.97), Qatari riyal (Rs. 42.20), Thai baht (Rs. 4.58), UAE dirham (Rs. 41.88), Malaysian ringgit (Rs. 37.66), South Korean won (100 won = Rs. 11.40), Swedish krona (Rs. 15.31), Danish krone (Rs. 23.14), Hong Kong dollar (Rs. 19.60), Kuwaiti dinar (Rs. 499.46), Bahraini dinar (Rs. 407.96), Omani rial (Rs. 399.51), and Indian rupee (100 rupees = Rs. 160).

The exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary, according to the central bank.
