NRB Publishes Official Foreign Exchange Rates for Today
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 153.04, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.64.
The central bank has also fixed the buying and selling rates for other major currencies. For example, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 173.88, with a selling rate of Rs 174.56. Similarly, one British pound sterling is priced at Rs 203.28 for buying and Rs 204.07 for selling.
The exchange rates for other currencies are as follows: Australian dollar (Rs 106.70/107.12), Canadian dollar (Rs 107.93/108.35), Singapore dollar (Rs 119.88/120.35), Japanese yen (Rs 9.75/9.79), Chinese yuan (Rs 22.83/22.92), Saudi Arabian riyal (Rs 40.76/40.92), Qatari riyal (Rs 41.99/42.15), Thai baht (Rs 4.56/4.58), UAE dirham (Rs 41.67/41.83), Malaysian ringgit (Rs 37.53/37.68), South Korean won (Rs 11.30/11.34), Swedish krona (Rs 15.34/15.40), Danish krone (Rs 23.26/23.35), Hong Kong dollar (Rs 19.50/19.58), Kuwaiti dinar (Rs 497.13/499.07), Bahraini dinar (Rs 405.94/407.53), Omani rial (Rs 397.51/399.07), and Indian rupee (Rs 160/160.15).
The NRB has noted that the published exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary, and the rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank's official rates.
