NRB Sets Today's Exchange Rates for Major Currencies
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, has set today's foreign exchange rates. According to the NRB, the buying rate for one US dollar is 153 rupees and 10 paisa, while the selling rate is at 153 rupees and 70 paisa.
The rates for other major currencies are also available. The buying rate for one Australian dollar is set at 109 rupees and 08 paisa, with a selling rate of 109 rupees and 51 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 109 rupees and 37 paisa, while the selling rate is at 109 rupees and 80 paisa.
The NRB has also set exchange rates for the European Euro and UK Pound Sterling. The buying rate for one European Euro is 175 rupees and 83 paisa, with a selling rate of 176 rupees and 52 paisa. For the UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is set at 204 rupees and 69 paisa, while the selling rate is at 205 rupees and 50 paisa.
The NRB has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. It's also worth noting that commercial banks may have different exchange rates, which can be found on the central bank's website for reference.
