NZ Economy Beats Expectations with 0.2% Quarterly Growth

New Zealand's economy has shown resilience in the second quarter of this year, beating expectations with a 0.2% quarterly growth rate compared to Q1.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data released by Statistics New Zealand showed that the country's economy grew more than anticipated, with a YoY increase of 2.6% in Q2.

This news has had a positive impact on the New Zealand Dollar (NZD/USD), which is currently trading at 0.5725 after seeing a 0.53% decline on the day.
