NZD/USD Dips Below 0.5880 Amid RBNZ and US Inflation Fears
The NZD/USD currency pair has slipped below 0.5880 as traders remain cautious about the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's monetary policy outlook and the upcoming US inflation data.
The pair had been hovering around 0.5880 on Monday, down 0.06% after two straight sessions of gains, but was cushioned by a hesitant US Dollar.
The recent US labour data showed a robust addition of 162,000 nonfarm payrolls in August, far exceeding the expected 56,000, while the unemployment rate held steady at 4.1%, offering some support to the Greenback.
