OMFIF Honors Villeroy de Galhau with Achievement Award
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) recently honored François Villeroy de Galhau, former governor of Banque de France, with its Achievement Award.
The award recognizes Villeroy de Galhau's contributions to central banking, European monetary cooperation, and international economic policy. He served as governor from 2015 to 2026.
In a lecture following the award presentation, Villeroy de Galhau reflected on major economic and monetary developments during his tenure and discussed the outlook for Europe and the global economy.
