Pakistan Rupee Trades Largely Steady Against Major Currencies
The Pakistani rupee traded largely steady against major foreign currencies in the open market on August 8, 2026. According to the exchange rates, the US dollar was being bought at Rs278.4 and sold at Rs278.85. The Euro stood at Rs320.11 for buying and Rs323.85 for selling.
The British pound (GBP) was available at Rs374.25 and Rs378.9, respectively. Other notable exchange rates include the US dollar at Rs278.65 for buying and Rs279.9 for selling, Euro at Rs309.4 for buying and Rs312 for selling, UK Pound Sterling at Rs365.2 for buying and Rs369 for selling.
The UAE dirham (AED) traded at Rs76.1 for buying and Rs77.05 for selling. The Saudi riyal (SAR) was quoted at Rs74.65 and Rs75.3, while the Qatari riyal (QAR) was listed at Rs75.88 for buying and Rs76.35 for selling.
