Pakistani Rupee Extends Winning Streak to 253 Days

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its winning streak against major currencies, closing in green for the 253rd consecutive day.

The PKR closed at 277.07 against the US Dollar (USD), gaining three paisas on Friday.

This marks a significant milestone as the rupee has been consistently reporting gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.

On other fronts, the PKR gained 45 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and two paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD), while it gained Rs. 1.22 against the Euro (EUR).
