Pakistani Rupee Hits New Low Against USD

The Pakistani rupee has continued its downward trend against major currencies, with the US dollar hitting Rs278.20 for selling in the open market.

This is according to the fresh foreign exchange rates released on Saturday for Pakistan's open market and interbank market, updated at 10:11 am.

The euro was quoted at Rs316.53 for buying and Rs321.68 for selling in the open market, while the British pound stood at Rs373.25 for buying and Rs377.65 for selling.
