Pakistani Rupee Stabilizes as Dollar Rates Update in Open Market
The Pakistani currency market has seen the release of fresh foreign exchange rates, with the US dollar stabilizing in the open market. The dollar is being bought at Rs278.00 and sold at Rs278.10, marking a period of stability after recent fluctuations. Other major currencies have also seen their rates updated, with the British pound selling at Rs372.45 and the euro at Rs319.10 in the open market.
The Saudi riyal and UAE dirham have also been traded, with the riyal bought at Rs73.95 and sold at Rs74.50, while the dirham was bought at Rs75.65 and sold at Rs76.40. The Canadian dollar and Australian dollar saw buying rates of Rs193.93 and Rs191.65, respectively, with selling rates at Rs199.25 and Rs198.76. Additionally, the Chinese yuan and Japanese yen were traded at Rs38.30 to Rs38.92 and Rs1.7342 to Rs1.8339, respectively.
In the interbank market, the US dollar's bank buying rate was Rs276.95, with a selling rate of Rs277.45. The euro was quoted at Rs309.24 for buying and Rs309.80 for selling, while the British pound's rates were Rs365.42 for buying and Rs366.08 for selling. The Saudi riyal and UAE dirham in the interbank market were quoted at Rs73.77 to Rs73.90 and Rs75.65 to Rs76.40, respectively.
