Pakistan's Foreign Exchange Rates Hit New Highs as Dollar and Euro Surge

The latest foreign exchange rates in Pakistan have been released, showing the value of various currencies against the Pakistani rupee. As of September 17, 2026, at 11:26am, the US dollar is trading at Rs278.05 for buying and Rs278.30 for selling in the open market.

In the interbank market, the dollar is quoted at Rs277.20 for buying and Rs277.70 for selling. The euro is being bought at Rs320.52 and sold at Rs324.53 in the open market, while the British pound is available at Rs374.26 for buying and Rs378.78 for selling.

The Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs73.85 and sold at Rs74.50 in the open market, nearing its record of Rs75. Meanwhile, the UAE dirham is quoted at Rs75.50 for buying and Rs76.40 for selling, also near a record of Rs77.
