PKR Hits New Record Against USD for 250 Consecutive Days
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has reached a new record against the US dollar (USD), closing in green for its 250th consecutive day on Tuesday.
At the current pace, analysts predict that the PKR can easily jump into 276 against the USD by October 2026.
The rupee has been consistently gaining value against the dollar since December 25, 2025, with a notable increase of 277.12 today.
In addition to its gains against the USD, the PKR also rose against other major currencies including the GBP (up 95 paisas), AUD (up 93 paisas), and EUR (up Rs.1.18).
