PKR Wins 235th Straight Day Against Major Currencies

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) continued its winning streak against major currencies on Tuesday, closing in green for the 235th consecutive day.

Against the US Dollar (USD), the PKR gained three paisas and closed at 277.37, a consistent trend since December 25, 2025.

The rupee also reported gains against other major currencies: it rose 40 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 32 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).

Interestingly, while the PKR gained 57 paisas against the Euro (EUR), it lost 34 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
