Pound Tumbles Towards 1.15 by Year-End, Predicts ING and Crédit Agricole
The British Pound to Euro exchange rate (GBP/EUR) is expected to decline towards 1.15 by year-end 2026, according to ING's forecast.
This prediction comes after the pair virtually remained unchanged over the week, with a small fall on Thursday followed by a slight rebound.
ING targets EUR/GBP at 0.87 in December 2026, equivalent to approximately 1.1494 for GBP/EUR.
Crédit Agricole has a slightly higher forecast of 0.86 for the same date, which translates to around 1.1628 for the pair.
