Precia Molen Revenue Declines 6.6% as International Conditions Weigh
Precia Molen's first-half results reveal a decline in revenue due to unfavorable international conditions. The industrial weighing group reported €78.7 million in revenue, down 6.6% from €84.3 million a year earlier. Adjusted for currency effects and the sale of commercial weighing activities, revenue declined by 4.1%. The decrease is attributed to Europe, France, and Asia-Pacific, while Africa and the Americas showed slight growth.
The company's operating margin decreased to 7.7% from 9.2%, with current operating profit at €6.0 million compared to €7.7 million in the first half of 2025. The group estimates a currency effect on the decrease in current operating profit at -€0.3 million, attributing the decline primarily to volume contraction.
Precia Molen has continued its debt reduction and maintained its industrial investments, with net cash (excluding IFRS 16) reaching €31.4 million as of June 30, 2026. The group's order books are approaching historical normative levels after a sluggish first half, driven by growth in service activities.
