Ramp, a New York fintech company, has expanded its finance platform to Canada and opened an office in downtown Toronto. The company's Canadian offering brings corporate cards, payments, expense management, tax automation, approvals, and accounting workflows together on one platform.

Eligible businesses can issue physical and virtual cards in Canadian dollars alongside virtual U.S.-dollar cards. They can also pay bills and reimburse employees in Canadian currency while managing spending across both currencies from a shared system.

Ramp has adapted the platform to Canada's tax landscape, allowing it to capture GST, HST, PST, and QST information from receipts and automatically assign taxes to the appropriate accounting categories.

The company pointed out that 51 percent of Canadian businesses in its dataset were paying for AI tools as of June 2026, up 5.4 percentage points since January.
