RBA Hikes Cash Rate, Keeps Door Open to Further Tightening
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has raised its cash rate by 25 basis points to 4.60%, in line with market expectations.
In a statement, the RBA emphasized that it remains focused on inflation and signalled that additional tightening cannot be ruled out if needed.
The central bank cited continuing demand outstripping supply as a key concern, with little comfort seen in the inflation outlook.
