The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has decided to keep its official cash rate unchanged at 1.50 percent for the thirtieth straight meeting, disappointing those who expected a change.

This decision was made at the RBA's May monetary policy meeting held on Tuesday. The Board assessed the global economic outlook and determined that it remains reasonable, but with risks tilted to the downside.

The growth in international trade has declined, and investment intentions have softened in several countries. In China, authorities have taken steps to support the economy while addressing financial system risks.
