RBA Slams Brakes Again, Boosting Cash Rate to 15-Year High
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has increased its cash rate to a 15-year high of 4.6 per cent, marking its fourth hike this year.
The move was widely expected, with the Aussie dollar experiencing little change at US$0.7014 after a short-lived knee-jerk rise.
Market analysts are now pricing in a 43 per cent probability of another rate increase in November following the latest decision.
