RBA To Assess Interest Rate Adequacy Amid Inflation Concerns
RBA Governor Michele Bullock said the central bank will assess whether its current interest rate level is enough to control inflation at its September meeting.
The Reserve Bank of Australia's Monetary Policy Board will review incoming data and evaluate risks when it meets next week, according to Bullock.
The key question for policymakers is whether the monetary policy tightening implemented so far will be sufficient to return inflation to target within a reasonable timeframe.
