RBC Admits €3B in Covered Bonds to LSE
Royal Bank of Canada has announced the admission to trading of €3 billion in covered bonds on the London Stock Exchange's main market. The bank issued two tranches under its €75 billion Global Covered Bond Programme, with one tranche consisting of €2.25 billion of 3.375% covered bonds maturing September 15, 2031, and the other tranche comprising €750 million of 3.750% covered bonds maturing September 15, 2036.
The securities have been guaranteed by RBC Covered Bond Guarantor Limited Partnership and were issued pursuant to a prospectus dated July 9, 2026, supplemented on August 28, 2026. Final terms for both tranches were published today. The bonds are targeted at eligible counterparties and professional clients only under MiFID II and UK MiFIR product governance rules.
It is worth noting that the securities have not been registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, which means they can only be offered in offshore transactions to non-U.S. persons under Regulation S.
