RBC Admits €85M in Covered Bonds to LSE Trading
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has made a significant move in the financial markets by admitting €85 million worth of covered bonds to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market. This development comes as part of RBC's Global Covered Bond Programme, which has a total issuance value of €75 billion. The covered bonds in question carry a 4.001% coupon and are due to mature on September 23, 2047.
The securities were issued under the bank's Global Covered Bond Programme and are guaranteed by RBC Covered Bond Guarantor Limited Partnership. It is worth noting that these bonds have not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and are only available for offshore transactions to non-U.S. persons under Regulation S.
The bonds, identified by ISIN XS3509680164, were published with final terms on September 21, 2026, based on a base prospectus dated July 9, 2026, which was supplemented on August 28, 2026. The securities are targeted at eligible counterparties and professional clients only, with no retail distribution in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom.
