RBC Taps Caroline Mulroney as Vice-Chair
Caroline Mulroney, daughter of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and a former member of the Ontario legislature, has joined Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as vice-chair. In this role, she will serve as a senior client relationship and business leader across RBC's different business streams.
Mulroney brings a unique professional background to her new position, having served in public service and financial services. She was elected to the Ontario legislature from 2018 to 2026 and held various cabinet portfolios, including president of the Treasury Board, minister of Francophone affairs, attorney general, and minister of transportation.
As transportation minister, Mulroney secured an intergovernmental agreement to fund the largest transit expansion plan in North America. For her work as minister of Francophone affairs, she was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur by the president of France.
