RBC Taps Former Bank of America Exec to Lead Rates Sales

Royal Bank of Canada has hired Dan Mills as a managing director to oversee rates sales in Canada. He will be based in Toronto and report directly to Harleen Bains, who leads global markets sales in Canada.

Mills comes from Bank of America, where he spent over 11 years in the same role. Before that, he worked at RBC for eight years.

Bains praised Mills' 'deep client connectivity and breadth of product knowledge', saying it will be an asset to the bank's clients.
