RBNZ Assistant Governor Karen Silk to Depart at Year-End
RBNZ Assistant Governor Karen Silk announced her departure from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand at the end of December. She will leave after the final monetary policy decision of the year, which marks a significant change in the central bank's senior leadership.
Silk joined the RBNZ in 2022 after a lengthy banking career with Westpac, where she worked on various functions including financial markets operations and economics. As Assistant Governor Money, she was responsible for overseeing these areas.
