Regina Business Leaders to Discuss Canada's Economic Outlook on October 21
Regina's business and community leaders are set to gather on October 21 to gain insights into Canada's economic outlook and strategies for navigating uncertainty. The Regina Chamber and Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) are organizing the event, which will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Conexus Arts Centre Theatre Lobby.
Arnaud Franco, BDC's director of economic research, will present the BDC's Economic Outlook 2026: Navigating Uncertainty and Building What's Next. His presentation will cover Canada's economic outlook, ongoing uncertainty, changing trade dynamics, and evolving market conditions. Franco will also share findings from BDC's latest economic research and strategies businesses can use to improve productivity, diversify markets, and strengthen resilience.
Isabelle Hudon, BDC's president and CEO, will deliver remarks during the event. Additionally, Murad Al-Katib, president and CEO of AGT Foods, will give a keynote address discussing leadership, global trade, innovation, and opportunities for Canadian businesses.
The event will begin with registration and networking at 7:30 a.m., followed by Franco's presentation at 8 a.m. Hudon's remarks are scheduled for 8:45 a.m., with Al-Katib's keynote at 9 a.m. A question period will follow at 9:20 a.m., concluding the event at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are priced at $50 for Regina Chamber members and $60 for non-members, with a continental breakfast included.
