Regina Business Leaders to Explore Canada’s Economic Future
Regina’s business and community leaders will gather on October 21 to discuss Canada’s economic outlook and strategies for navigating uncertainty. The Regina Chamber and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) are co-hosting the event, which will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Conexus Arts Centre Theatre Lobby.
Arnaud Franco, BDC’s director of economic research, will present the BDC’s Economic Outlook 2026, focusing on the country’s economic landscape, trade dynamics, and market conditions. He will also share insights from the latest economic research and offer strategies for businesses to enhance productivity, diversify markets, and build resilience. Isabelle Hudon, BDC’s president and CEO, will also deliver remarks during the event.
The morning will feature a keynote address from Murad Al-Katib, president and CEO of AGT Foods. Al-Katib will discuss leadership, global trade, innovation, and opportunities for Canadian businesses. The event will include a question period following the presentations, concluding at 9:30 a.m.
Tickets for the event are priced at $50 for Regina Chamber members and $60 for non-members, with a continental breakfast included. Registration and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by Franco’s presentation at 8 a.m., Hudon’s remarks at 8:45 a.m., and Al-Katib’s keynote at 9 a.m.
