Revolut Beats ECB Rate with 3.51% Savings Promotion
Revolut, a neobank, is now offering new account holders an annual yield of 3.51 percent on their savings. This move comes as the European Central Bank (ECB) increased its deposit facility rate to 2.50 percent, making Revolut's offer more attractive for those seeking short-term returns.
The ECB raised its deposit facility rate by 25 basis points to 2.50 percent, effective September 16, 2026. This change also applies to the main refinancing operations rate, which is now set at 2.65 percent, and the marginal lending facility, which stands at 2.90 percent.
New account holders can get the 3.51 percent rate for one month with no conditions. To keep the higher yield for up to three more months, customers need to make three card payments of at least five euros each within every 30-day period.
